My stash...

My over flowing LO's and albums...I need more albums and page protectors so I can put them away! My stamps and chipboard and inks and brads and alpha rubons....

My ribbon collection and flower collection and pattern paper collection.....

My desk that under it has all my alpha stickers, my Heidi Swapp stash, and over on the side is my stickers, other rubons, bulky embellies....oh and on the other side on the top is my clear stamps and bling and stuff....

More ribbon, my acrylic letters, Buttons on the littl shelf....

Wow! I can't believe it has been so long since I posted last. Well I am taking a class over at http://www.shimelle.com/ called Something from Almost Nothing. She is so cute and awesome! The first "challenge" she posted is to take pictures of our stash...I had taken some already for http://www.houseofpaper.com/ that we use for an organizational challenge so here we go....So that is a lot of mess! LOL I hope I can use up this stuff and have a good album to work with! So if you are reading this then come on over and take a look and play!

Peace out!

Bummed

Mom came and had a short visit here in North Carolina. I miss her already and she just left today. Thanks for a great visit Mom! I love and miss you very much!

Not to much happening since my last post. Still in school and it is still going well. Last semester was a lot easier then this semester is going to be, but I guess that is what happens when you get closer to your degree. The classes get harder. We are still looking at houses and found one that we like. Hopefully it will still be available when it comes time for us to buy in the spring. I can't wait to get out of this apartment! The people above us are the rudest people I have ever met and the worst people I have ever lived under in an apartment! And I have lived in quite a few!

The girls are back at their mom's until next month. Their 2 weeks here every month seem to go by really fast. But I am very thankful that mom got to see the girls while she was here. They were very happy and greatful also!

I am trying to get back into scrapping, it has been tough tho. I have all these ideas in my head but they for some reason don't want to cooperate when I try and put them on paper! LOL I am taking it slow and have managed 3 LO's over the last week. So pretty good I think!

Well that's about it for now...catch ya'll later! Peace out!

One Little Word

Okay let me try this one more time...this is now the third time I have tried this! LOL My word for the year is BELIEVE! I chose this word because I need to believe in myself in all the things I do in my life. Believe that I can accomplish all I set out to do, and if I don't achieve them then I have to believe that I did everything I could to reach the goal! I did an altered canvas of my word so I can have it on my wall, so everday I can look at it and remember to believe and try everyday! Here is a picture of my canvas...it isn't perfect by any means but I like it and so does Allen.

So, Allen bought me a new computer today. It is for my birthday/Christmas from this past year. WE didn't buy gifts for eachother since he was layed off for December, and we wanted to give the girls the best Christmas possible. So he got me an Inspiron One by Dell. It is an all inclusive computer so there is no tower! It is awesome! It has an 18 inch monitor, CD/DVD writer, web cam and camera, 4 GB Memory, and 640 GB hard drive! It is sooo freaking fast! I zip zip all around the internet now! Way cool! My hubby rocks! It cam with a new keyboard and mouse too, which I desperately needed. The old computer is now going into Savannah's room. Abby will be totally happy because now she doesn't have to share the laptop! LOL But this thing is SA-WEET!!!!! Thanks baby! Here is a picture of it...so doesn't do it justice tho!
I heart it! :)
On other news...Allen and I have been looking at buying a house in the next couple of months when our lease is up here at the apartments. Goodness I can't wait! The dumb people above us are sooooo rude and loud! YUCK! Anyway....we were pre-approved for a home loan and now all we have to do is find a house that is in our budget and one that we like. We have already, but it will probably be gone by Mar/Apr time frame of when we could close on the house. But I will believe that we will find the best house for us! Woot Woot. Okay...off to zip around on my blazing fast computer....:)
Peace out!

New Year....New beginnings!

I am hoping that 2010 will be a fabulous year! I am still going to school towards becoming a nurse. I am hoping that I will be able to get everything done in time to submit my package for the 2011 nursing program. I just started back (with the convincing help of my Aunt Debbie, my beautiful mother, and my wondreful husband) last fall, so I still have a ways to go.

Allen and I are trying to get pregnant so wish us luck! We can use all the thoughts and prayers you can give. We have been trying for about 6 months now, without success but I feel this year will be the year!

We have decided that apartment living is just not right for our family so we are starting to look at houses for sale here in the area, and also looking at builders here. We have some land that we can build on, so we just have to see what is out there.

I know it sounds like a lot of stuff on our plate right now, but really it isnt. We are very thankful for our friends and family and for eachother to keep things moving in the right direction and to keep us focused on the task at hand.

Every year there is a One Little Word challenge that Ali Edwards does at aliedwards.typepad.com I totally love her style of things and love her site. If this is something that you would like to do check it out! As for my word...I haven't decided yet. Last year it was TIME and I really didn't do much with it. I want this years word to be good and one that I can work towards and accomplish. I think I will sleep on it and come back tomorrow with my word as well as my year in review pictures from 2009!

So until then...peace out!
